Natural refrigerants: the legal situation
Due to the legal situation and the F-gases regulation, the topic of the natural refrigerants will become increasingly important in the future. The EU plans the complete Frigene phase-out and has submitted various programmes for the avoidance of greenhouse gases from refrigerants. It is certain that the natural refrigerants gain in importance and will be increasingly promoted and required in the future. Funding by the Federal Office of Economics and Export Control is already possible today and amounts up to 20% of the entire plant. Refrigerants such as CO2, propane and ammonia are increasingly in demand and can be ideally planned and used with the respective property depending on the field of application.
